Functional yet funky, home-grown ex-high-flying banker Cheryl Ann-Spencer is back in Singapore to launch her eponymous line of high-end handbags at Quintessential, the specialist handbag and accessory store for the discerning.

Cheryl Ann-Spencer

A
nd the extremely prolific Ms Spencer has such a wide variety of handbag and accessory choices ranging from diamante belts, flashy bag charms, go-go wristlets, fun and funky wallets, metallic totes, witty messenger bags and retro-esque handbags that even the most discerning of customers will have plenty of choice.

Aimed at the adventurous and confident woman who at the same time values well-made and luxurious bags, Cheryl's bags are made from a wide range of materials ranging from luxurious suede, leather, fabrics and linings sourced from Italy and Spain right down to carefully handpicked zips all put together to create a unique Cheryl Ann-Spencer creation. Explaining her design rationale Cheryl says: "My goal is to provide customers with an alternative line of well-priced bags that are different in colour, style and shape from anything that you can get off the High Street. I want to blend art, fashion and functionality to create styles for the fashion-savvy, yet practical woman".

And, the most differentiating factor for this Central Saint Martin-trained designer is that she understands how to construct a bag from scratch - she makes her own samples and prototypes, so each bag is ergonomically-designed and guaranteed to last!

And before you think that we have sacrificed wit and charm at the expense of durability, think again, each bag is a reflection of Cheryl's passion and energy and constant stream of creativity. Cheryl Ann-Spencer's bags and belts are priced from S$169.

Cheryl Ann-Spencer's Collections are available at Quintessential, #03-03 Mandarin Gallery. Tel: +65 6738 4811
