Ever heard of the phrase, 'less is more'? Well it certainly applies to The Willow Tree Massage & Wellness Salon. ![]()
I t doesn't really exude a typical spa-like kind of ambience but what they lack in the looks department, they certainly make up for in terms of quality massages. The masseuses are well-trained and provide for an invigorating massage. As I was being kneaded, I couldn't help but marvel at her arm power. I could feel her unknotting all my sore and tired muscles that haven't received much TLC in a long time. A must-try for anybody who needs to unwind, because her acupressure exertion is well targeted at tense areas and she makes sure all your knotted aching muscles get a good rub down. Besides, it's supposed to be healthy for your mind and body. Excellent for overworked employees. What surprised me most was how attentive the therapists are. I guess it's really a no-frills massage salon where anyone can get their money's worth of facial treatments to slimming massages. All their therapists are trained and certified in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and acupressure. I was pampered with a facial that left my skin feeling more supple and smooth than since I was three. It had enriched vitamins and minerals that promise to nourish my neglected skin. The entire time she was massaging my face and using her deft hands to perfection, all I could do was just close my eyes and relax. It's a great way for those who want to keep their skin supple and youthful especially since they use an accupoint, lymphatic drainage method that regulates facial muscles and blood circulation. Willow Tree may not seem like your average high-end spa but what they do have is dedicated masseuses and an attitude that would definitely make you leave the place with a smile. They chat with you with genuine concern and offer you tea to quench your thirst after a good massage. The pleasantly decorated place is Peranakan inspired and they have quaint batik pieces that would certainly make you feel at home. This is a place to go if you want something back to basics. It won't blow a hole in your pocket. Prices: Body Massage (TCM, Sports, Back and Accupressure) - $48/hr, Facial (Collagen, whitening, problem skin, anti-ageing, accupoint) - From $40. Shoulder and Back Massage $25 (half an hour). Other services include eye treatment, spa packages with body scrubs and tummy firming. Prices available on hand. Free consultation by our trained wellness therapists.
Open: Mon-Sun 10am to 9pm. Last appointment 7.30pm. Blk 35 Dover Rd., #01-167, +65 6776-0673, (Call to book an appointment) |
