G o and see the Fred Perry shop and experience new levels of disappointment. With all the hype and the support from The Asylum over the road we’d have been expecting something a bit more interesting. Instead only a bland and dull, totally uninspired use of this old space prime location. Although they have some pretty rags hanging up, this brand is obsessed with being recognised. So self-conscious of their own wonderfulness they have to plaster their laurel leaf motif everywhere, so subtlety is not an option. Perhaps it’s not the real thing. There’s no mention of it on their international website. - Fred Perry Shop, Ann Siang Road www.fredperry.com |
