![]() Sushi Counter @ Shaw Isetan 350 Orchard Road, Shaw House Tel: (65) 6733 1111, Fax: (65) 6734 7083, www.isetan.com.sg Why They Won: Now, who says that the best Japanese delicacies must be found in pricey restaurants? This counter has the best assortment of sushi and other Jap yummies around town and is as fresh and authentic as they can get, minus the hefty price tag. Another sushi counter to check out would be the one at Cold Storage Takashimaya, judging from the crowds hovering around, trying to get a box of the promotional delights in the evenings. Honours Award: Actually, we did receive a number of votes for Botan Jap Restaurant at Far East Square, which makes them the winner for the category, unfortunately for some very strange reason, they strongly declined to be featured despite heavy persuasion. Now, we wonder what they have to hide??
