She carried you around for the first nine months of your life and then some... always there to tend your boo-boos and smack you unside the head when you cross the line... So this Monther's day, show her you care by celebrating at the Orchard Cafe's Grand Buffet. ![]()
T here you'll find a wide selection including Dim Sum Trolley Hong Kong-style, Winter Melon Herbal Soup, Live Oysters freshly shucked a la minute by the chef, Cold Sri Lanka Crabs, Chilled Lobsters on Ice, Live Drunken PrawnsStation, Braised Pork Belly with Buns and much more. Their Mother's Day Grand Buffet is served for lunch from 12noon to 3:00pm at $42 per adult, $23 per child and dinner from 6:00pm to 10:30pm at $45 per adult, $24.50 per child on 13 (Saturday) and 14 (Sunday) May 2006. Or check out the award-winning Hua Ting Cantonese Restaurant which has created authentic gourmet set menus for 10, featuring a combination of Suckling Pig, Deep Fried Golden Mushrooms and Deep Fried Silver Bait glazed with Salt and Pepper; Braised Baby Superior Shark's Fin with Fresh Crab Meat; Sauteed Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk accompanied with Sauteed Fresh Scallops and a whole lot more. These set menus are priced at $238 (4 persons); $388 (6 persons) and $688 (10 persons) and available for lunch from 11:30am to 2:30pm and dinner from 6:30pm to 10:30pm on 13 (Saturday) and 14 (Sunday) May 2006. Celebrate with a bottle of Champagne at $88 only! So make sure to treat mum right this year and let her know that all that guidance, lecturing and tender care made you into person you are today!
