![]() Run by a Thai lady who also owns the place, it's frequented by so many Thais, so you can be sure of its authenticity. Her food is as tasty and as shoik as those sold by street hawkers in Thailand. The Tang Hoon Salad with Seafood is sweet, sour and spicy. The dressing is freshly pounded in a pestle and mortar when you order. If you do not mind the wait, we highly recommend the crunchy yet tender Crispy Pork, which is best eaten dipped in sweet chilli sauce. We also like her rice dishes with various toppings, especially the Fried Pork (or Chicken) with Basil and Chilli and the Fried Pepper Pork. Be sure to ask for more chillis to increase the spicy factor! 586 Lorong 34 Geylang, Ji Heng Coffee Shop, Open 10:30am to 8:30pm |
