The Italian Job

Tucked away off Raffles Place, but well known and loved by hungry office workers, is an Italian eatery by the name of Sarracino, the kind of place Luigi the Tailor might go if he was in town.

While their pizzas only looked passable, I hit the bullseye with their antipasti deal, a selection of delish' freshly prepared home-style Italian Antipasti served with bread, a combination of any three types is $8.90, good for one person, or a large combination of five types for just $10.90, perfect for two.

Add to that the homemade fresh vegetable zuppa (soup) for just $4.00, which is almost a meal in itself, or a Panini, a freshly prepared sandwich, like Toast for $5.90, or a Ciabatta and Baouette for $7.90 and you've got the fuel to move your day through any tough economic climate!
