Sinema Old School

I
f you're a member of the majority of Singaporeans who don't read the Straits Times, then it's understandable if you didn't catch the feature on this extraordinary new project called Sinema Old School. They have launched the first independent cinema dedicated to Singapore films, opening in November with a showing on the 10th Anniversary of Eric Khoo's 12 Storeys. Located at 11 Mt. Sophia, Old School is the new creative hub with tenants from all walks of the creative industry (were talking the likes of Wee Khim, Mark Law, WORK, Wkyidd Song, et al...). Bustling with creative energy, there are art galleries and eateries in the compound as well. Just take a peek at www.oldschool.sg to get a glimpse if you're too timid to make the trek, what you see will surely beckon. They have a retail space on the ground level (cinema on 2nd floor), with a box-office and shop selling movie memorabilia, DVDs - you know, the works.
