You thought hair styling or cutting was for barbers and the likes? How about for copywriters? Think gets the juice on being a Hair Stylist from Danny Chan of Toni & Guy.
D anny Chan gave up a career in advertising in exchange for a passport into the world of style and glamour. The key to making his dreams come true was a heartfelt dedication and the comprehensive courses at the Toni&Guy Academy, which provides good support and covers every aspect of quality haircare one needs to succeed.Hair is not only an important part of glamour and looks; it is also a fashion statement these days. The great news is that today everyone wants to have fun with their hair. That means steady employment.
But the job of a hairstylist is not all about glamour and fun. When asked what friends and family thought of his sudden career change, "Everybody thought I was crazy, switching careers like that, but it's worth it when you see the smile on the customer's faces, its very rewarding." The job requires dedication and patience and a capacity to stand for many hours at a stretch. Danny admits that this career is not for everybody, but that the prospects for growth in this field are tremendous and the returns are very quick, and more than monetary. But before you get into the hair styling business, make sure you learn from the experts, and there's no better place than T&G! |
