Overlooking the Singapore River, the view of the river from The Mushroom Pot is simply breathtaking. The staff eagerly points out their signature mushroom hot pot as being the first in Singapore. The restaurant puts anew twist on the traditional steamboat by combing a selection of 20 different types of mushrooms with delicious stock. As expected, there is a wide selection of well-loved fungus on the menu.

Wild mushrooms with thai chilli come fantastic as a starter and prime your senses for the smorgasbord of dishes ahead. Choose your broth of choice before you embark on your hot pot esca~ade: herbal chicken, vegetarian or sour and spicy. Tuck into the delicious array of invigorating mushrooms and be surprised at the flavours that the humble mushroom can produce.

The restaurant also features seafood such as prawns, squid and fish for their hot pot. An a la carte menu is available, with mushroom fries being truly unique. Crunchy and without the heavy taste of traditional fries, this dish still manages to remain addictive to the palate. Tibet ribs, cooked in a mixture of fruit juices also come across as a unique and well-executed dish, a prime example of the consistent quality of this restaurant.
