You might have noticed the ads in the taxis, Mint Cafe, Restaurant and Wine Bar is a delightful four levels of antique toys, which make up Mint Museum of Toys.
Having just celebrated their one year anniversary, this unique place has garnered a ton of attention from the press, but have you gone there?
The space itself is nothing short of beautiful with glass panels and silver tones dominating the interior and really showing off the toy and comic book memorabilia.
The Mint Cafe serves a mix of international and local cuisine, like Salmon Nicoise Salad, with perfectly seared salmon.
The house specialty is the Seafood Chimichanga, stuffed with squid, shrimp and cod with spinach, cream, breadcrumbs and eggs, carefully rolled and deep-fried, a perfect starter! And if you love seafood, try the aglio-olio style Spaghetti with Shrimps.
Don’t even get me started on the desserts, or this review will be ten pages long. Suffice it to say, they’re reason enough to pop in, and with the museum, it’s doubly worth a trip to Bugis.
