A machine that slices char siew and two people cooking noodles simultaneously are just some of the ways that they try to reduce the waiting times for their wantan mee.
It seems to make little difference as the queues are still ever present. The year’s hiatus has seen a slight change in their noodles as the once al dente noodles are a little softer and lack that springy bite that so endeared us whilst the sauce is a bit too sweet. Still delish however, as the slightly charred char siew is good and the wantan noodles still one of our favourites.
